My barber fucked my hair, he trimmed it on the sides but left on top and cut of my side part.
Basically fuckin my hairline, I swear I hope I can grow my hair back because it's unmanageable

To those of you who grew your hair long from it being short, did you experience increased shedding?
My hair is now the longest its ever been (about 9 inches or so) and it also falls out more than ever. I lose a minimum of 200 hairs a day, I estimate, with tons in the shower and when I comb. I am very freaked out by this, I feel my hair is thinner than ever. However, it does not seem to fall out in any pattern pertaining to MPB (it falls most from the bottom of the back of the head).
I am worried I am suffering from Telogen Effluvium (could be for a number of reasons, extreme weight loss, stress, possible nutritional deficiencies, lack of sleep).
Should I be concerned? My hair does not look noticeably thin, although I can see through it when it is wet. Only noticeable difference is a very slightly wider part, but I've also never had my hair this long so I don't know if it would have looked like this in the past.
Is this just a product of having long hair? Or am I fooked?
