I'm not expecting Urwek tier complexity or Patek finishing out of entry level watches but some variation in design language.

The strangest thing to me is that right now flat design and minimalism is in and yet in watches, even the cheap ones, you see a lot of glossy finishes.

Ok maybe with inflation the 1000€ is too low nowadays but does going up to 2000€ even change things? Junghans is the only brand that stood out to me for making appealing watches in the lower price segment.
