When the sun catches just right, it's quite the treat.
I've been swamped since December with secret s/a/nta (ended up making this sakuya design for a grinch and then getting grinched myself. I'm doing a GuP one for anti-grinch too), holidays, and servicing vintage ebay shitters but yes. I've got plans for redoing an old Youmu design that was too thick with what I've learned and then I have the prismrivers' dial concepts drawn. I really should do Reimu and Marisa since I've been putting them off. But this is mainly a hobby so the pace of development is pretty laid back. I also have a few clocks that I want to do with higher detail.
I've been working with a laser cutter the past couple weeks to try to get things even more precise and while the details are fantastic, it ends up leaving charred edges so I can really only use it on dark colored cardstock. In particular, if you look at the mob cap on Sakuya's head, the laser cut version came out very dirty after handling it during assembly and the edges are slightly discolored. I'm also thinking about doing etched copper and enameling over that, but one thing at a time for now. Every time I see one of those AnOrdain dials it makes me want to try it too
