Hi /fa/

My brother wants to get into the fashion industry. He wants to be a fashion designer, so he's going enroll in our local community college majoring in fashion design. Problem is, he needs a portfolio, and he has pretty much no artistic ability whatsoever. That's not all, he also suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and has been in a psych ward for the last 12 years. He's 30 years old now, and is, in my opinion, pretty much out of touch with the times and especially the fashion world. But he wants to make up lost time he spent in that ward by studying fashion and pursue his dream of being a fashion designer.

My question to you all is, how can I help guide him into college, and what does he need to know in order to start fashion design classes? I know he needs a portfolio, but I'm not sure if it's drawing or actual garments he's supposed to have in it.

Would a women's US sz 8 shoe fit a men's US sz Foot? There's some ultra boosts im looking at in my price range that are a women's size 8 but the seller says it'd fit a men's 7.
