I'm thinking of buying a pair of Red Wing Beckmans. I'd be wearing them with dark jeans, black jeans, and maybe light grey or tan chinos. Would the cigar color go with all of these? In particular, would it work with black?

I need to buy a new pair of boots before next fall and I want to keep an eye out for sales this summer.

I need something that looks good in a casual business environment. It also needs to be comfortable and be able to withstand a couple hours of walking around in salty, icy, snowy parking lots.

I'm leaning towards a pair of Red Wing Beckmans or Wolverine Duvalls, but wanted to know if there's something better in a similar price range.
