first of all they cost just about the same as made in the US/yurop boots, but they're made by amateurs in their indonesian garage, so it's not even worth it, unless you really want a custom lace-to-toe for some reason
a lot of them have QC issues, especially the cheaper indo brands like junkard and jakkrabbits
if you get one that's defective or has QC issues, they won't make it up to you in any way and will just flat out ghost you
even if they use imported leathers for the uppers, everything else is cheap domestic crap (footbed, ect.), some of those that had theirs resoled claim to have found cheap garbage on the inside
there were instances of these brands trying to pass off domestic leathers as expensive imports and you can never be sure if what they claim is true and just have to take their word for it
the lasts are really bad

note the cap toes are different size, the last is so shit that you have no space for your big toe, the celastic/toe structure material goes way past the cap toes and almost reaches the facings
it's just not worth it, dude
