I haven't been able to afford anything yet, but they pop up in sales and on Grailed/Styleforum/etc. fairly often. But if you're an XS / 28W like me then good luck, those sizes ALWAYS get bought first. It's a casual menswear line using the same technologies of a renowned outdoor brand; I've never read anything bad about Veilance in terms of quality and performance. And supposedly Arc'teryx has a pretty good warranty/replacement policy. I'd definitely avoid paying full price when possible, but either way as long as you care for the garment and have a good use for it then it should be a solid investment.

Might be good to find and tailor a pair of Levi's Commuter Cargos. I have a pair and they're decently waterproof but pretty heavyweight. Definitely a F/W piece. Just be sure to tailor them, I haven't bothered with mine yet but they definitely need some tapering to mimic ACG/ACR stuff.

Veilance would be my first choice if I had the money.

Gore tex shell, Coreloft insulation and styled in such a way that you won't look like George in that one Seinfeld episode.

Thanks for the info, makes the pricing a bit more justified. I've been eyeing Veilance pieces for 2+ years but they've always been far out of my price range for clothes. So no issues with your other Veilance pieces?

WTB pretty much any wind/rain resistant Veilance outerwear or similar. I usually never bother with these threads but I'm trying to get something decent for f/w.

As long as you size correctly and pay attention to proportions, you shouldn't. Especially when you're nice and toasty in an insulated shell while others are freezing in their A&F hoodie and Uggs.

Another winter coming and I still can't afford a Veilance coat. Anyone know w2c cheaper alternative?
