It's not like they couldn't put it in a more sophisticated bottle. I think that the "dudes" demographic, everyday joes who may conflate elegance with femininity, are probably more likely to try/buy something that doesn't look like a traditional perfume bottle.

That and putting it in a nicer bottle means they'd have to raise the price, if for no other reason than perception and marketing. Part of A*MEN's success is that it's not terribly expensive.
