Go on eBay, get the core essentials. You could find gems on that site if you now your measurements. Get quality material, 100% fabrics because f you shop straight from retail, they have stupid stretch, slim, skinny fashion gimmicks.

I myself am a sprezzatura trad/prep kid and I've found some good finds on eBay all under $30, $20. Also, check out the trad/ivy/prep threads here.
