School is starting back in two weeks, and I'm having issues with my hair. My hair is pretty long for a male (roughly the length of the picture.) My issue is how I could wear it. My parents are extremely restrictive, which limits my options (mainly just clipping, wearing it near my face and tying it up). The problems/restrictions I have are down below.

Problem 1: I can't wear hairpins to clip it back, as my parents think it's too girly. I was going to have where I clip the front back a bit so it goes down my cheek. But they aren't going to let that happen.

Problem 2: I'm not sure my school's stance on headbands. I have multiple that I wear that fixes my hair perfectly to how I like it (down by the middle between ear and cheek and long in the back.) Only issue with this is how school's usually look towards head wear, especially colored ones (they think gang attire.) I'm going to wear one on the first day, if I can't find another option quickly enough.

Problem 3: I'm pretty bad at hair gel (styling). I also would really like to not have to use it, as I hate the feeling of rough hair gel on my hands an in my hair. But hey, if there is a good one, I'm willing to try.

Dilemma 4: I would like to find ways to tie my hair that would make it look nice, but I don't want to look like those basic douches who wear man buns everywhere.

So yeah, those are the main things. I really like my hair, and I take really good care of it. I use a brand called Nexxus, which makes my hair smooth and clean. I like it long, as it fits my appearance pretty well (6'4 and slender). I went with short hair for a little while, but I honestly don't like it very much. Anyway, like I said, if all else fails, I'm just going to wear a headband and brace for the impact of the school system. However, It'd be pretty cool to get some advice from some people on a personal level.
