Personally I like the more angular styling of the hi beats a bit more than the spring drive models, and the hi beats have some really cool dials. Those are matters of personal taste, though.

If you care about mechanical watchmaking and can appreciate the effort that goes into the hi beat movements (which are some of the most heavily adjusted regulated balance movements on sale today), then hi beat. If you aren't super interested in mechanical movements though, spring drive is great.
