My dad, a 2nd dan black belt and former owner/instructor of two TKD dojangs, gives me a lesson every Wednesday. He's a doctor now and doesn't have time for more than one lesson per week, so I practice what he taught me during those lessons on Monday/Tuesday/Saturday. I'm always leaving his lessons mega-nauseous due to all the spinning kicks/punches. There are no TKD-focused martial arts schools in my area, so I'll keep going with this until I feel unsatisfied. I sprained my pinky toe during our first lesson, and I got bloody knuckles and feet during my lesson yesterday! Can't wait for callouses to develop and toughen up my skin.
