yea i wear size 11 typically, i cant fit into smaller, but there is always big gap between where my toes actually are and how far the shoe extends. people have commented on my large feet, but if you take my foot out of a shoe and compare it with a smaller size the difference isn't as apparent as when its in the shoe.

theyre supposed to be chunky as fuck though. in op it looks weird because shorts + leggings makes your legs look smaller and taper in silhouette, compared to jeans where its more straight. personally i would wear geos but never with shorts + leggins, i dont like the way that ever looks
