How do Achilles fit? If I wear an 8 (us) in converse (and that's a bit of a tight fit) should I size up or size down???

Just got some common memes and I'm looking to make them last. What should I do beyond cleaning the leather uppers with sneaker soap and a brush?

I've heard it's important to condition the leather, so any recommendations on a leather conditioner?

And would it make sense to use this kind of a protector spray on them before I start using them?
