It's so hard to say. In my opinion your best bet is to fix down how many you want and ask the artist. In all likelihood he'll just agree to do X amount of them for a price because in his head he'll know how many he can do in an hour.

I mean, to generalize, shit studios will. It;s not the done thing any more though. Good ones only tend to to do it for special occasions. Friday 13th, halloween etc. Artist post designs they would like to tattoo all the time on their social media, consider them to be a kind of one-off flash.
