I want to look like an impoverished technician on a starship in the 2100s. How do I achieve this look? Personally I'm thinking of buying military surplus cargo pants which are usually nice and high waisted as well as wife beaters. The shell layer could be a vintage bomber jacket designed to accommodate pants with a full rise. It's hard to find the right muted colors for the pants though that would create the effect however. I'm also not sure what I should do for footwear. Thoughts?

I'm looking for a lnarcore or space rust jacket. Not really sure what I want, it's one of those things that "I'll know it when I see it".

The kind of jacket that some sort of future spaceship mechanic would wear, akin to the jackets that you see on Star Wars, Aliens movies and the like. With some military vibe to it.

The thing is that most jackets I'm finding are either too busy on the details or too plain looking, not much different from any other workwear jacket.

What do you guys think of this jacket? I’m kinda aiming for a Lunarcore aesthetic but not too extreme and on a budget, so if you guys can post some other jackets (preferably under $175) that’ll be great

I’m looking for some Lunarcore shoes. I really don’t feel like dropping +$250 on shoes yet again. The style I’m trying to go with is a mix of palewave, Lunarcore and comfycore but in a minimal aesthetic with little to no branding. I’m currently deciding between these two, now I know vans are a meme here on effay and so are the Margiela futures (I’m looking to get them used for around $250) but here are some pros and cons from both these shoes.

>no problems with it getting destroyed
>gives off a classic space vibe

>really easy to get dirty (suede/canvas)
>normie meme shoes
>not very minimal (logo, stripe, stitching, laces)
