Still too nervous to buy actual feminine clothes as a masc presenting guy in public since I live in the south. I wanted to see what was the cutest fem outfit I could make strictly out of male clothing I already own.

I repurposed a pattern tshirt into a cute little blue leopard print wrap skirt + a hoodie into a tight lilac croptop.

What do y’all qts think? I know the color scheme conflicts a little but I’m dyeing the top black to match tomorrow!

Been cutting my hair for a couple years now. Kind of evolved from a tidy Hitler youth fade into this. It's better (imo) and I get more compliments the messier and less "perfect" it is. R8 my cut.

I'm sick of it. Most hair stylist are hacks learning on the job and don't know how to cut hair or they know how to cut hair but get lackadaisical when they realize you're a frequent customer who's not going anywhere.

Anybody have experience cutting their own hair? Any guides, tips, or tools I should acquire before I take a stab at it? I think the only difficult part would be giving myself an even fade.

I can't believe you fags just talk about fashion all day but blindly consume brands. How about making your own shit for once? I just dropped $12k on the BN-20 and two ricoma heat presses and I'm converting my garage. I was going to buy the local print shop in town for $40k but the boomer owner betrayed me and went with another offer, but it is no matter.

I've got local orders lined up with businesses already, some recurring and some not, and I'm going to use the funds to pay myself back and to build my own brand. I quit my comfy $90k a year desk job to pursue this full time. Why haven't you?

Has anyone had any experience making jewellery? I'm considering it since I know it'll be cheaper than buying it however I'm wording how much I'll need to learn and experience to make something decent. I'm looking more towards diamond and silver jewellery and also making my own dress sets so one onyx and one pearl.

Here my dye progress. Left is original. Middle is after one bottle of brown dye in the washing machine. Right after two bottles of dark blue. Pics doesn't really do justice to the difference since I left the camera to auto adjust, but it still isn't that big.

I think I'll try to start waxing this jacket now, though I need to get some supplies and find a space to work.

I finished my first attempt at dyeing a jacket. I spent a lot of money and didn't get what I wanted but I did learn some things.
The black dye didn't get into all of the canvas evenly. Possibly because it was pretty scrunched into the 3 gallon pot.
If I did this again the dye bath would be way bigger.
As is the canvas is probably acceptable as a black with fades.
It barely got into the stitching at all. I don't know if this is because stitching is like that generally or because it's a synthetic.
I don't really like the yellow contrast.
The selvage detail on the front pocket barely picked up any dye.

I'm going to try waxing this chore coat. It hasn't arrived yet, but I assume it's made from a twill weave, which might make the whole think difficult since it's a bit looser than the usual duck weave.

I've tried research the benefits of bee's wax vs linseed oil, but most google results are about using them on wood or the history of oilcloth. Mostly I want to know how stiff the result is with the different materials, and if there's any risk oil/wax smearing of to other stuff.

Do you make your own stuff, /fa/? I just paid $8.80 AUD for a simple repair job while simultaneously shopping around for something that would be easy for an intermediate sewer to make.
I feel like it might be worth learning to do it myself.

I'm tired of most clothes that I want not fitting me properly that I'm seriously considering buying a sewing machine and learn the craft.
Going to the tailor for every new piece of clothing becomes a waste of time and money.
I'm pretty handy and pick up skills quite easily, any tips or recommendations?
