What's some headgear ideas for longer-ish hair?

I'm growing my hair out but it's at that awkward stage where it isn't short enough to be manageable but isn't long enough to tie back.

I'm used to going outside with a hat on but it's looking a bit ridiculous. If I wear a baseball cap then there's just literally pounds of hair spilling out of the side like guts.

So I started wearing a beanie but it looks even worse because it looks like there's a tail of fake hair stuck to the back sticking out. I tried tucking all the hair into the beanie but then I looked like a cancer patient.
What other options are there?

Where can I find leather perfectos that go up to mid stomach. Every brand I've tried it always goes to waist or longer. I need some brands friendly to average height guys. I'm a little upset because I spend $400 on a BLKDNM perfecto size small and it goes past my butt.

Personally like a bit girly more bulkier shades.
They give a nice contrast if you have good bone structure. Not sure about cat eyes tho.
