Most washing machines don't have a dryer function. Only combi-units do.

I don't even have a regular dryer here--I go to the launderette every week (which is quite expensive). My wool clothing I hand-wash and put on the radiators, but I don't have space to do the rest so I just put it on medium in the dryer.

I might look into getting one of those heated clothes horses.
