yeah they used to be bad but in 2014 and 2015 they're really stepped up their game

they've cut back on the gaudy designs, their styling is now very minimalist and modern, and also they still have the advantage of decades of experience in the denim industry

someone posted a fit pic last week or so and they looked great

go to a department store or something and try them and you'll see what i mean.. they look closer to APCs with smarter design and fabric
