As in title.

>Be me, autist pepe living in Asia
>International shipping is "HOLY SHIT" expensive
>Want to cast really cool shit in metal (maybe Britannia Pewter or possibly Bi58Sn42 or hell maybe even just rose's metal or some lead-toxic gay shit like that)
>Have a resin 3d printer, want to pour high-heat silicon molds around my print, or maybe high-end plaster?
>Then want to vacuum cast metal into it using DIY vacuum table

But like... a burnout furnace costs $800 minimum??? And they're TINY! Like 6" tiny. Wtf am I supposed to cast in something that's supposed to be smaller than a mold that's supposed to be smaller than a perforated steel flask that's supposed to be smaller than 6 inches?

Nigger nickel balls!

A vacuum cast setup starts at $1200 (lol. LMAO even. Built my own for $120, including the vacuum pump)

An electric furnace costs $200 but I just stomach that, whatever. I don't want to ghetto-rig a microwave kiln in my yuppie apartment.

My main issue here as you can probably tell is this burnout kiln shit. It makes no sense to me how a furnace that can heat to 2000F costs 200 but a burnout kiln (wtf even is the difference? Don't they both just heat shit?) costs four times that and needs to run for TWELVE HOURS? I might get a visit from the police if I consume that much electricity kek

So anons, TL:DR, do I need this burnout furnace for investment casting? Can I get away with just molding silicon around my resin 3d print? Is silicon even porous enough to work with vacuum casting or does it HAVE to be plaster (and if so, does that plaster HAVE to be in a burnout kiln?)

The internet is giving me mixed signals about this. Some say I can get into this hobby with $100, a vacuum cleaner and a used microwave. Others are like nO yOu mUsT sPeNd $10,000 oN a mEtAl fLaSk aNd $30,000 oN a pAiR oF sAfEtY gOgGlEs.

Tell me what to do, anons. I'm ready to burn down my building (will be doing this on a ventilated balcony). Kek

God I wish I hadn't thrown all of my components in a their respective box (one for capacities, one for ICs, etc), but instead kept them in their original packaging with manufacturer number. I have no idea about tolerances of my resistors etc.

How do you store your components? Looking for inspo.

Don’t twist them together. If you do that you’ll make a short circuit that will instantly trip the breaker when you turn it back on.

Just put a wire nut on each end.

And don’t plaster over the blank plate, buried junctions are annoying and against code.

if that were possible you wouldn't need to weld the tank in the first place.

yes

no

If black used to be connected to black it might be important to keep that since it might feed something downstream; same for the other colors.

On the other hand if you cap everything individually and the other outlets and whatever still work then that's fine too.

Nice thread. I hate those sheep who use the SQTRSFWETER thread kek.

I need to delete/remove a hanging light fixture inside my house. I am planning to put a metal cover over the box. Should I twist the wires together or should I cap each one off individually. Sorry for the stupid question but I honestly don't know.

>incompatibility
God i hate Bosch green / blue so much for this. They're like that big, established brand, where you pay extra for this not to happen. And then they cant even offer equivalent tool in both ranges. E.g. many gardening tools like nano-blade saw will be only green, so if you want decent blue workshop tools you must run 4 systems under one brand.. like why even bother and not just get the cheapest option with every tool you buy? Fuck Bosch.

Your description of the problem sucks so who knows but my best guess is power supply or maybe you fucked something up reassembling it after doing thermal paste. Try reseating connections, especially hard drive. Try rebuilding file system while you’re at it, might as well bc it only takes a minute

the hoodies are cheap plastic with a bob marley logo on them

the only people who sell 100 cotton know are actually koreans
because they import everything
you can get 100 cotton hoddies from them
all the dickies are cotton too

No I meant 16350 like I typed. Believe it or not there is more than 1 type of battery cell. They typically use cheaper, smaller, and lower capacity cells in this dumb disposable pieces of shit which is why you see 16350s in the slightly fancier disposables that last a few days or just straight up custom cylindrical lipo bags in the shitty stick ones that last a few hours. It’s why salvaging the batteries is generally worthless; they aren’t putting high quality batteries in these stupid pieces of shit that are designed to be thrown away after 2 days. You’re getting the factory rejects from good battery lines and (more likely) batteries that were intentionally made as shitty as possible

so you get a tax number i forgot what its called idn or some shit
then you can buy from wholesale sites
like where they sell pipes for like 5cents and you buy a 100 at time

there are sites that have every type of cotton

so you go its all cotton shirts and hodies

you order 20 diff types and see what material you want

like hoodies can have 100 percent cotton or 50 30 depends on you price level and quality

same with t shirts

you the get some logo or buissness logo
make 2000 of them for like 300 dollars

then you sell them
thats what really anyone does know
niggers actaully dont even do this
they go the swap meet and have some korean dude do it

there also companies that will do it
