PD: make sure to clean the parts totally and to sand them a bit to make it stick better, if you don't do this it will last less, and your shoes will break again

I know exactly what you're looking for, It's called nural 28, I use it to seal motorcicle cilinders, it's very useful and incredibly sticky, once I sticked a piece of aluminum to a piece of wood with it and I had to use a hammer and a nail to remove the piece.
I like it because its very elastic and it get's sticked very well, also it is waterproof and oilproof, and it can stand temperatures over 100ºC.

I would totally use it to fix your shoes, the only problem it's its price, its like 11€ the tube.

If I had to build one in my country I would buy an 50cc engine, they are reiliable, cheap and can be heavily modified.
Then you would have to afront the reality and make som schematics about the chasis (add a good suspension) , you know, and then hours of soldering.
It's a difficult project because you'll have to get specific pieces, like kart wheels, transmission gears, stering gears...

nural 28, resistant as fuck: flexible, resists 110ºC, water/oil proof, I atached a piece of aluminum to some wood and I needed a hammer and a nail to unstick the piece.

Drawbacks: expensive, bright orange color.

You can also use epoxi, for about 1$ you will be able to attach the coin, but It wont be as resistant as nural, and it maybe will fall in some weeks or months.

Tip: sand the part of the coin you want to glue, it makes a huge difference.

Lol, why are you using a mini-saw and a knife?
The professional jewelers shape the wax with dremels, you should watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8t4qx76QCc

Tip: to reduce external diameter I would use sandpaper attached to an horizontal superfice.

Good luck!

Hi /diy/ just to make it fast: i have lots of electronic scrap, I also have a tin solder and i've worked with batteries, leds, resistances... But I'm a total noob with microchips, capacitors, and other components.
Is there page in wich I could learn all about electronic components and how do they work/how to use them?

P.D: this is part of the scrap I was talking about, could the chips be useful or they are just trash?

I'm probably going to do an electrical engineering and I want to learn before it's too late.

Ohh, the sacred crap box, I don't know what I would do without it.

All what you need is a paper bin, and an empty box, when you've ended cleaning the room the paper bin will make you avoid spreading the rubbish around you, and you can use the box to save important things/crap you don't know what to do with.
And think: if another person was looking at me, would he think the problems I have are as serious as I think?

I also use axe cans to save electronic components like leds, switches, motors,... Just keep it simple.

It wasn't too old, it has like 4 years, he gave it to me because that lighter was full of scratches, and it was black matte so he got rid of it.

Also the materials I've used were already at my home so I didn't spent any money, If I had to maybe I would have keept it in a box for years.

Thanks guys, I'll go to buy some lacquer because I've seen tarnished zippos and personally I don't want to see my zippo full of rust.
P.D: could there be problem if I used a silicone based polisher to polish it?

Build a rotating barrel and put the nuts/bolts in there mixed with sand, little rocks and other abrassive materials, leave it for some hours and they will be cleaned up

1- Get some flexible plastic pipe.
2-Get a tiny bottle
3-Buy a cheap air pump (if don't have it yet)
4-Get some tyre valves and attach them to the bottle
5-Buy a normal tap
6-Mount it all,
7-Buy a plastic flower and atach the end of the pipe to it.
8-Put some air in the bottle, put powder in the pipe and you are ready to go.

Cheap/Easy way:
1- Get a flexible plastic pipe and atach a flower to the end.
2- Get a tiny plastic bag and fill it with powder and attach the lower side to the pipe.
3- Press the bag and get punched in the face.
