Hello guys,

Any1 knows whats the market name for CO2 cartridge socket? I need some PSI in my DIY project but dunno whats the correct name for that mount.
Got gooload of those [pic] cartridges from my CO2 pallet gun, just dunno where to buy socket to load them into.

I'm against disassembling gun to take off mount. Too expensive.

Natural stone is just a matter of digging or picking up ;P

This thing was more expensive than my motorbike (what is pretty junky) so i was expecting it to be more complex than just concrete lol

Hello!

Yesterday Iv seen (pic) in the shop. I wanna make one for myself (this on was uber expensive) for tap in my garden.

Any ideas what they use to glue rocks to ensure no leaks nor fast detoration ?

Ohhhh you DRINK that water ?

immediately STOP drinking destilated water ! Is toxic for our body !

Destilated water cause reversed functionality of our leavers washing out all micro elements, drinking it in prolonged time will cause serious sickness or even death (im serious, google about drinking destilated water ! )

Not to mention that for that price you can buy used reverse osmosis system..

Omg you paid 200$ for it ?

For 200 i can sell you ready to use moonshine setup and my sisters bike and also i will ship it to any place in europe and i will still have 100% profit...

Generally his desing llooks like he took it from 4chans. Most parts are overkill or incorrectly used, also power consumption of that heater will be enough to buy 2x more destilated water from shop...

Carbon filter ? What for ?
Only reason to place carbon filter is to make space for bacteria to grow...

You put an air heater under the glass tank for boiling water ? Why not normal electric heating pot ?

>>609805
Rear (wall) side of that cooler have open pipe aiming to the wall ? Or is it just some glass hook ?

Where is safety valve for water vapors ?

One simple word - limescale.

Hmmm guys any1 knows what is the microstep multiplier build in arduino motorshield 2 ? cant find it over web...

Iv made a force attempt to find it - drived motor with 700- 800 microsteps commands to make it turn full circle, and it appears its not full number but something around 16.6...

Hello,

Im working to make my own clone of Egg-bot, got allready working arduino g-code interpreter connected with motor shield v2 and 2x stepper + serwo fully functional.

Question is about resolution:
In egg-bot webpage its stated that steppers makes 3200 (around) and 800 (top - down) steps across egg.
http://wiki.evilmadscientist.com/Drawing_a_smiley_face,_part_1

Still, BOM states that steppers are 200 steps / revol (1.8deg)
BOM: http://shop.emscdn.com/KitInstrux/eggbot/ebk_assy_21b.pdf
Datasheet: http://www.e-jpc.com/pdf/Hybrid-Stepping-Motors-and-Drivers-size-23-56mm-square.pdf

It means that they are able to somehow boost resolution of steppers from 200 to 3200 without gearboxes...

Im running 2 x 7.6deg steppers, so with halfsteps im able to get them to 96 steps / revolution, with yelds a theoretical 0.55mm thick line to provide full cover of 'average' egg

Any idea how they achieved that large ressolution ?

P.S. Forgive me poor eng ;P

If you want to build real things go robotics.
If you want to stay at PC and make robots move pick AI.

If you will not get job after studying you will work im McDonalds.

German engees are ok, but not best. Easter side of europe have much higher university level.

In most countries german engees = bmw, so you will be fine.

You need a big nail and hammer, not a 30 bucks tool. At the nut holding casette there are 2 holes (for inserting that tool) put a nail into one of those holes in sharp edge and hit it with hammer, should move. Also there is a special kind of tronks that can be helpfull.

As soon as you will unscrew that nut pick from floor all bearing balls you just dropped.

While installing new cassette use a lot of machine lubricant, thicker is better. It also helps to keep the balls in place during installation.

Iv finished my gutar couple days ago, parts:
Plexiglass body with some mad distances.

Pickup - used cheapest hum on adjustable slot ( i can unscrew it and move closer / further from neck)
Used neck from broken guitar, worn but 100% working.
New strings (cheapest)
New jack socket
New pot (installed volume only)
All parts that keeps strings in place used, except one scerew i had to replace.

Ground soldered in star (all negative wires soldered to one single spot at jack socket)

My GF is a musican, her opinion "I have no clue how you made it working"

Generally guitar looks horrible ;P

Any wire, you can place it anywhere between parts , mind it should not be very long (up to 1 meter its totally ok)

>>536487
its safer this way

Sure, any wire will do

Usual thickness (with isolation) its around 2 to 4 x bigger than LEDs leg. (Best wires i ever scavenged were from old phone chargers)

My data is from:
http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz

Source voltage 9V
diode forward voltage 3.3
diode forward current 20 mA
number of LEDs in your array 20

like what ? Resistors capacitors and switches ?
They are so cheap that ppl sell them in bunches to make it worth cents.

If soldering is a problem make a trip to local shopping center.

Steel wire ? They sell it in meters.

Bike brake cable is just normal wire with a head attached to it. You can try soldering or welding, should work. All depends what you wanna do with it.

1. 9V battery or 9V wall charger 200mA minimum.
2. 10 x 150ohms resistor (Brown, green, brown, gold)
3. Mind that LED have + and - leg (longer is +)
4. You attach them like in pic, You attache to negative wire from battery resistor (he have both sides same) than negative LED leg, to other side of LED you attach negative leg of another leg, than to other side of second leg a switch or something to cut off power (or positive wire itself)

You can get cheap hydrogen generator and use it in situ for fueling rockets.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolysis#Electrolysis_of_water

Mind that hydrogen itself is self-igniting in open air and highly explosive. Basic hydrogen rocked involves launch pad with build in H generator, that transfers H by gravity (H is lighter than air).

Generator is working untill one of two things happen:
- Hydrogen self ignites and thus causes rocket to start
- You provide spark to ignite the fuel.

Wear helmet and googles as well as non-burning cloths, leather welding gloves recommanded. Bigger rocket = bigger explosion in case of failure.

Do not play with hydrogen peroxide, its too dangerous and too expensive to bother. Way easier is to get 230V > 12V converter and home made water cracking cell.

There is nothing toxic in commercial cigarettes (except the cheapest).

Except toxic tabacco smoke ;)

>> No.535667 [View]

Rolled cigarette should be technicaly same as the one premade.

Its same damage or even worse (cause most persons tend to buy cheapest tabacco)

If you smoke pipe (you inhale smoke to mouth only, not to lungs) you will get mouth cancer instead of lungs cancer (ppl say its lesser chance, no real proof is there). Its same for cigrs.

For water pipes you cancel risk of inhaling so much tar instead of, you inhale water vapors and some cancerogenic substances made from mixing hot organic vapors with water.

For electronic cigarettes you inhale pure water vapors (+ some flavors ) what causes changes in lungs (you can think about it like about slow drowning).
