How can I monitor my many miles of electric fence for my horse boarding facility?

I want to be able to set up a few readers, that relay the electric strength to a central monitoring system.

Therefor I know what's hot and how warm the current is in the different areas, which would make troubleshooting the fence much easier.

A few horses got out recently, and we had to corral them

Relax. It's not like he's removing it every day as a job. It's unlikely he will catch anything if he uses a respirator.

I'm thinking of purchasing the tool in the video, then charging people five maybe ten dollars to get the stones off their yards that plowers flick on to their yards, when spring comes.

Here's how I got my finish. I used zip strip to remove most of the finish with a putty knife.

Most of the cosmoline will bubble up with the paint striper, along with the shitty finish.

You'll need several applications of the paint stripper.
Use the finest grade steel wool to finish up, until the stock is "white" and smooth as silk.

Once the finish is removed and the stock is smooth. Apply 10 coats of Seldona red 222 by buffing it in.

Sand with the lightest grade steel wool between each coating after the finish is dry.

Then take a micro fiber clothe that's lightly moistend with water to get any steel wool residue that's left over, so it wont get into the next coating.

let the water dry.

Once you have 8-10 coats of the 222 finish applied, do the exact same process with 10 coats of tung oil.

some idiot backed into my car, while I was at work at the restaurant. Most likely he or she was drunk.

Is there any way I can get rid of the dent?

I seen hair dryers and compressed air.

I stripped my mosin nagant's finish off prior to this. It was almost white, with a hint of yellow.

Of course this rifle was made in 1925 so there ...

The minwax tung oil container does not recommend thinning. So that's the end of that.

Why does it have to be a trailer park?

Did you ever read my original post?

Why not build something like an A-frame on the mobile home frame?

>> No.444891 [View]

>>444888
In this day of age you can't really be dependent on having a Job, in a certain location for the rest of your life, like folks did a few generations ago.

With a trailer, you can simply take your home with you. Also, investments such as solar & wind power would not be lost, if you were required to move.

My Sister who's a nurse is married a pipeline engineer , they were making a nice living in North Dakota.

Out of the blue he was offered a job that paid 120+ thousand in Oklahoma.

If they had such a home, all they would of needed to do is buy a plot of land, pay some movers to transport the home, and connect utilities.

Moving a home that's built on frame with wheels would be cheaper than buying a new home all together.

/diy/ i am looking to make my own replica of the black monolith in 2001:A Space Odyssey. Any idea on what to do?

I don't want to buy the cheap plastic version (pictured) from Thinkgeek, also I don't have access to blacksmithing tools, metals and such.

DIY fuck ups anyone?

My brother wired a high voltage line, with the receptacle at the end, from my barns breaker box.

The receptacle was the kind you plug in electrical ovens into.
He did this for a welder unit.

Many years after he did this, I was sweeping the place up and I touched the line with a broom,as it was laying on the ground.

The line suddenly burst with bright light, and it ruined a small chunk of insulation.

A hour or so later,as I pass by the line, the line decided to burst once more.
