Legal: lots and lots of Roundup

Other: you can splash some gasoline or motor oil on the area, if you want to "scorch the earth"

There are kits available, but it would be cheaper to buy the engine whole.

Continued:

And then you need some big cats (think cougars and jaguars) to take care of the bird population.

After that you will want to get a couple of rhinos to regularly trample the big cats.

Rhinos will multiply uncontrollably, however, if let to their own devices, so make sure to get some elephants in the as well.

Elephants have no natural enemies though, so after a month or two the elephants will have eaten all the surrounding flora.

This is where you bring in the national garde.

The national garde will grow restless and start to rape the local populace. A tactical nuclear bomb will take care of that, however.

Good luck, OP!

First add some snails/mussels. Let them start to to thrive.

Then, add some fish that prey on the snails/mussles.

After that, bring in some frogs and small birds to help the mosquito situation.

And then, you'll want to add various kinds of snakes to control the bird/frog population, followed by some larger birds of prey and large snapping turtles.

bing, bang, boom. You're own lake.

Why not take a hand-cart you can pull behind you?

>> No.206971 [View]

Thanks! I've checked them out, but I still can't find anything that's less heavy-weight (and cheaper) than USB. Maybe I'll just have bite the bullet on this one and use USB connectors/cable...

>> No.206953 [View]

Yeah, I checked them out. I still can't find any plug that looks like, well, see the first pic.

If you were going to connect two cables of 4-bundled wire in an unsnap-able way, how would you do this? What type of connector/plug would you even use?

My terminology is probably way off...

Sup, /diy/

I am a intro-level electronics person, and I am having the damnedest time finding simple, crimp-style connectors and plugs. I've been all over the Internet, and can't find any reliable source.

Pic VERY much related

This came off of some overpriced LED strip I bought from ADAFruit. The plug is perfect for simple applications, but I can't find any re-sellers that don't sell them by the thousands.

What does /diy/ use to connect its simple wires?

>> No.206929 [View]

man, that sucks

A good helping of RoundUp would fix that problem for months.

>> No.195825 [View]

This is more of /sci/'s territory, actually.

Also, if you used a contiguous (zero padded) data structure in place of a linked list, you'd be able to access all of the values by memory address directly. That, combined with bit-shifting operations, would be pretty optimal.

Your upper bound would be constant: O(c)
Linked list: O(n)

Linear isn't bad at all, but constant is just badass. :)

>> No.195819 [View]

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but you could decompose them to base-two numbers and do simple bit-shifting.

I have absolutely no bias, possibly against hemp, but I bought a hemp wallet in Portland, OR for about $30 (because my wallet fell apart and WTFnot) and it's lasted longer than my previous two leather wallets.

People also complement me on it whenever I whip it out. :)

Purdue-fag here.

Alumni, actually. The nuclear engineering department has their own reactor, but it's only strong enough to power one incandescent light bulb. The reason is because nuclear grade material is very tightly regulated.

A major U.S. university can't get these materials, what hope is there for the average Joe?

This is relevant to my interests.

What we need is a connector that converts the ribbon to SATA or something that has a converter for USB. Then, just step the power to run the device. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do any of that...
