pic related is my bamboo bow (sorry for shitty pic).

it's only a prototype, but it's very easy to make. think about this, if there's some bamboo growing near you.
>get 10-15 bamboo sticks, 2 meter long, 1-1.5 cm diameter
>remove branches, sand
>tie them with duct tape, as tight as possible
>tie some string where the tape is, then remove it
>cut, adjust length

bowstring is 4 braided threads of kitchen string (don't recommend it, i'm still experimenting)
i guesstimated the draw weight at 20 kg.
draw weight depends on thickness and number of sticks used.
it is decently accurate (instinctive aiming obviously), i hit a human sized target at 20 m with 90% chance.
