I have a gallon glass jug and rigged together an airlock. This is /diy/ after all.

Pretty good. I scaled everything down for a one gallon batch. First time went really well. The stuff was strong enough to a guy on his ass (figuratively). The second didn't go so well: I didn't get the air-lock on good enough and I ended up with vinegar water.

That air tight seal is vital.

What ever.

I'm making a buckler out of 14 gauge galvanized steel. Who's done something like this before?

You could be interested in a lot of things. Take me for example. I started out on /b/ and quickly got bored with the the porn and senseless posting, then I found /tg/. I played a lot of D&D and thought that was to place to be, that and /tg/ has really good draw and write threads. LARPing was brought up, and every one in those threads talked about buying/making their stuff. Not long after, I found/diy/ on the bottom of the page, and been coming here ever since.

...You have a point there. You happened to get said point across so quickly because I fucking love Twinkies. You know why it works like that though, right? The knock-offs are exactly the same as the original, except in price, so they can sell more. sure they take a hit on a single box, but the net income over many sells more than makes up for it.
