>Run over by car
That will fuck up your day so bad.

The answer is always to say something not work related, something that couldn't possibly be construed as "Well that might hinder his work", the typical answer is "I'm a workaholic", which they never want to hear.

There's a bit of talk in #/g/-island on irc.rizon.net

A few of us have gone to sleep/are done for the night but talk will continue later probably.

Get Object Dock Plus and make drawers, no regrets if you have cluttered desktop/lots of programs.

Three local mods for every chan who can help keep it in order and report shit back to Moot monthly.

More janitors, not really a problem here on /diy/, but I must say, on /v/ it's a big problem that needs fixing. I don't see the problem personally with meta threads every now and then, but stupid shit is rampant.

Probably work on a better backend, no more boards, a lot of people want this but I can't see how it's a good idea at all.

4Chan X integrated would be so nice, or an alternative view, something like Browser.exe / catalog.neet.

/v/ used to talk about this daily, the threads come on and off about every year, from renting out a piece of land and building a hotel, to a mansion, to an island, to everything.

In the end we usually determined it wasn't feasible or wasn't worth it if it was. There is a rich guy that pops up once every 3-6 months in said threads, he's talked to his lawyer sand they've advised him that it's a bad idea, but he still considered it for the future as a possibility but it would need to be able to sustain itself although he wouldn't mind the initial investment.

The problem was /v/ ever finding anything they could do to sustain themselves in such a place, I'm guessing /g/ would have a similar problem.

Fine, I'll give it a try, but I really hope it's not bad.

Also polite sage for wrong board.

>Modern MTV
>Producing anything even decent

No.

Although I haven't given it a serious try, you could be right, sure, but given MTV's track record, what are the chances of that?

Definitely interesting.

I lots the link ago so do you have the one for the initiative to have a standardized Star Trek style OS display? Looks similar to what's in your picture there.

This. Slagcoin is a great resource.

Might also find some help here, I got some unexpected help on things unrelated here previously: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?forums/tech-talk.6/

Unless you somehow know the secret to economic success (doubtful) in the current state of the economy, it's probably not a great idea to do this right now, just from a financial standpoint, I have a few entrepreneurs in my family (US, not Canada), they were doing great before, these days it's just terrible though.

P.S. Never make the mistake of giving yourself lods of emone because the economy is 'doing strong', seen a lot of people fuck up and buy like 2-3 BMWs or something because they're doing great (more like 'ok') then a year or two later "I wonder why we're doing so bad" "If only we saved money". Knowing your way around the financials is probably most important and keeping your shit in check, one of my uncle's has had a really friggin' tough time with that, my mom helped him from time to time but he basically still doesn't acknowledge that keeping the shit in order helps.

Take a note from this guy

not as some sort of 'don't ever do it', but it's just really a bad time right now for the small stuff as he said, everyone is jumping on it. In my local area of maybe let's say 500 people, at least 50 have 'lawnmowing services' which are just literally mexican or cuban guys with pick ups and the pull behind trailers coming out to your house and mowing your lawn, nothing more nothing less. Washing cars/windows, not gonna get far, there's very little to do that's cheap start up but will get you somewhere because everyone else is gonna be jumping on it too.
I don't think the business license means anything unless you need a storefront here in Florida anyway, not for a small upstart anyway.

This is how most people I know got by doing this kind of stuff back before etsy was really a thing. Find a niche then do commissions.

Just have to be willing to od a lot of free work on places like dA and hope you're good enough for people to start noticing.

Apologies sir, when I clicked the link (from the main page it hadn't yet shown those, my bad).

I have WML knowledge especially with templates if anything is needed, have set up several wikis for games in the past.

I know that you have many disclaimers, but this really is the type of thing you probably shouldn't post on here.

Not trying to rain on the parade, but given how actually dangerous this is not to just to the maker but if they succeed to others, this is probably the exact sort of thing that the sticky warns against.

Polite sage, didn't report, just saying, you should consider deleting it.

Woah don't do that, that's bad for you.
Your body stores because it's not sure when it's going to get it's next meal, look this up or see a dietician if you want proof, I used to do this thinking it was good and put on tons of weight.

Try eating smaller meals more often throughout the day, halve your regular meals and eat 6 times a day, try and have something to eat every 2-3 hours, your metabolism constantly going, and even without doing much to work out you will start to lose weight if you're obese. If not, even some light working out will help big time.

What you eat is important, but if you're eating at bad intervals it can be just as bad if not worse.

OP, you should understand that:
A)Most of /diy/ will probably not like LMFAO at all.
B)You will get a lot of troll comments and luckily some of this shit is just illegal so you can't be a dumbass and kill yourself
C)The rest of the stuff, do some research, you'll probably end up killing or injuring yourself.

As for a fix, I don't know, I'd imagine LEDs, if I recall correctly there's some sort of paint they use in the clear rubber/plastic on the bottom so that whatever shines through gives off taht glow in the dark color.

I'd imagine an easier way would be to just flip your shit and fill that bottom with glow stick liquid, of course it wouldn't last long.

This is a popular option, use it for grey water and you're fine (your lawn, etc, the stuff no one cares about, wash your car, good stuff).
Instructables has a lot on the matter.
