hey /diy/

Bought a kitchen aid processor from a liquidation sale for $10. I've already got one at home so I don't need it for its intended use. I'm also wanting to start diving into beginner electronics. Any ideas for future projects with the parts? I considered attempting a wind generator after learning what I need, but thats about it!

Absolutely not, why would you assume that?

I just roughed the glass a bit and adhered them with gorilla glue

Not earth magnets, the silver button magnets (forget what material). They're on there strong though.

I've also got an assload of corks if anyone has project ideas. We have a 6 paned mirror in our kitchen, was thinking of filling one pane with corks for a little corkboard addition

I've one project I'd like to post, but my sister is known to lurk /diy/ and /b/, so unfortunately go to bed emily. Instead, a picture of my toybox.

Found an old toolbox at the local Goodwill. The Cummins Corporation keeps this city alive, so I'd assume its some poor workin' mans tool box. Keeps my dremel and assorted adhesives together for now!

Build this damn thing for my mother-in-law. In my mind it looked like a folksy birdfeeder. What I got was a suspended mess of cutlery and dishware.

The interior is still pretty ingenious though. I cut and pinned curved pieces of soda can to the feed holes to prevent birdseed from simply pouring out.

Delicious seasonings.

Was going to jazz up the lids with painted monograms or something, but we kind of enjoy the lackluster look of our babyfood and sharpie spices :D

Last but not least in the set, an emptied bottle of Sarsaparilla. Considered including a blue star cap, but didn't find any blue paint around the house :/ oh well.

The posters are pretty swell, but an easy job obviously. Applied an acrylic clear coat on them, just to add a little extra gloss though.

Im a little critical of the caps, but they turned out sufficient I believe. Just learned of a company by the name of Bottlemark which prints caps for 12 cents/cap. Interested in utilizing this idea for personal jewelry & such in the future!

the Mentats & Fixer were probably my two favorite from the set, as they were made from old Altoids tins. They're durable enough to continue their lives as mint tins as well!

Heres the rest of the Fallout set. Needed a christmas present for my vidya brother, so figured a memorabilia set would do just fine. Hell of a lot of fun to build as well!

another angle of the bottle. It's been "roughed" up, seeing as it's supposed to be 200+ years old lol

Hey /diy/, got a few projects completed so I thought I'd share them. The theme for my christmas this year is handmade (to a loose extent). Feel free to share your projects as well!

Pic related, the Nuka-Cola bottle I hadn't delivered from my previous thread.

I've seen some 'recipes' calling for a ground breathmint of specific brand. I feel like a ground Altoid (or similar) would cloud the fluid.

Everything but the Nuka-Cola! I've got an old Budwieser crate in the spare bedroom (soon to be nursery), considering roughing it up in the style of the Sarsparilla Crates in New Vegas!
