That explains why I feel so sick looking at it.
Honestly, does anyone else gets the same sick to the stomach vibe from overly shiny designs?

I'll go there. Interesting, I wonder what wonders await me there.

lol, I suppose so.

Okay, in order not to waste space on the forum. Anyone wants to talk about wearable cooling/heating systems?

Hi. I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

I am trying to do a practice DIY project for a prototype cooling/heating system and I need to determine a rough approximation of the volume ml of water or coolant that my project will have in it.

Basic design, in theory would have the fallowing:
Basic table of contents.
"blocks" or "BL" = are made up of strips.
"strips" or "ST" = are thin 1.5 " wide by 8 " long bag like structures filled with a small layer of cotton or possibly a wire mesh. The bag like structures might be about 3 - 4 mm at it's widest point. Although this is extra info but it will also have a radiant barrier on one side of it.
The tubes are all going to have an approximately 2mm wide channel.

Some suggestions for the coolant tubes are welcome.

So, in this prototype there are:
Front- Blocks 1, 2. (6 ST each) with about 2 ft of tubbing
Back- BL 3, 4. (8 ST each) with about 1.5 ft of tubbing
Lower
BL 5, 6. (have 4 ST each) with about 3 ft of tubbing
BL 7, 8. (have approximately 3 ST each) with about 6 ft of tubbing
BL 9, 10. (have approximately 2 ST each) with about 7 ft of tubbing
Upper
BL 11, 12. (have 3 ST each) with about 3.5 ft of tubbing
Plus pump water volume.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Ah, basically this. I feel silly now.

Do you think that the school would let us simply build one outdoors?

Ow, did I mention that I thought that putting it outdoors was the best option? Even with a little half and everything O.o?

I live in NC so the weather here is pretty warm all throughout the seasons, for me anyway.

I am will introduce an idea to some collage clubs to partition up to the admins:

I would like there to be an easily, publicly, visible billboard (bola tin board) for clubs to use. Google wasn't helpful but that is probably because it assumes that I mean to look for information on large advertising billboards, which is not the case. (I realized that I meant bola tin board… Regardless, I am curious if anyone has useful information about this issue.)

Does anyone know anything about the pricing of such a thing. Lets say that it is maybe something like a 2m by 4-6m long board that its on two support polls about a meter above ground?
Lighting?

I already came up with an idea on how to divide the billboard between existing clubs and how to make the markers adjustable wile remaining unstealable.

Thanks for your time.
Bolt.

I'd agree.
That said, you could potentially share the price of a 3D printer with an engineering or another club that might be interested in additive manufacturing.

I would get a cheaper end printer. Like the one for $516 + some plastic spools, so + $130 or so.
I was also use a camera as a scanner if need be.
I would buy a nice rapid design board like "Raspberry Pi". I would prefer to have bot a parallela but I didn't invest in it since I was short on money. There are lots of them and there are new ones being designed of of kickstarted. There are even ones for java!
Such as:
"espruino-javascript-for-things" of of kickstarter.com

Also, there are a lot of different development boards. I invested in this recently.
matchboxarm on kickstarter.

I would also invest in a cheap C&C machine.
That said I have seen 3D printers that also have a C&C machineing capability and a scanner, case in point.
indiegogo.com/projects/fabtotum-personal-fabricator
-The .47 micron print capability didn't cut it for me. Plus I can scan with a conventional camera... so, I wouldn't take this.

I have seen small C&C machines in other places. Also, I am currently eyeing this 3D printer, if only I could co buy it :*S
"zim-the-first-dual-head-personal-3d-printer-fully" also on kickstarter.

Don't forget the other electronic pieces like the Pixi camera system:
"pixy-cmucam5-a-fast-easy-to-use-vision-sensor" -kickstarter.

Ow and don't forget to get some step motors to play around with.

What do you think?

I can attest to the "survivor blanket's" effectiveness: we have a window that is built into the roof of the third story. The sun made that room unbearable in the summer so I got that blanket and put it up and into that window, problem solved.

I have operated my Ebay and Amazon accounts for only a couple months now. I sell Xboxs and other related things. I also sometimes come across other odd items that I end up selling.
Amazon display name: Cool Deals 2013
Ebay display name: cooldealmakers2013

I just made an Etsy account, but it will be a little wile until I will organize it. (Same user name as the one that I use on here.)

Can't say that it's anything special.
That said, I did/do help with my Mom's gallery's international business among other things.

Starting out my life.
Worked in international business, but it isn't enough as it was my mom's family business. I really need to start to get my act together. I am also a student at a community collage.

I also buy and resell things on Ebay and Amazon.
I am thinking about doing some stuff on Etsy. (I am really good with small crafts, have been doing papercraft and beed works a wile back.)

I also have one idea on the drawing board that I might do a kickstarter for... [although it's a secret, okay ;) ]

More over, most of the most invasive surveillance technologies usually don't have battery issues: IE they are stationary or have other means of producing power.

No, I will give you that one, you are right when it comes to today's battery technologies.

But, there are technologies that can avoid overusing the batteries: mainly wirelessly transmitted power.
