I was talking more about the sustained throttle and RPMs it would have to deal with.
You could probably at least take off in a Baron if you had some high-revving I4 bike engine, but I figure you would be at full or nearly full throttle close to the redline to take off or climb, so the engine wouldn't last.

Check this out: an aircraft engine, especially an under powered one, as a bike engine certainly would be in a 3000 lb Baron, is gonna be under WAY more stress than a bike would put it under, and when it throws a rod, you could fucking die.

In my state, what you have to do is very very little.
I stumbled across some fellows claim one time, it was off of the road to a ski resort, like 10 minutes away, and all it was was a wooden platform for a sheep herder's tent, a fucking Directv dish, and a thing for crushing rocks. From what I've heard, you have to mail samples to labs to get tested occasionally, but that might not be true.
A buddy and me have resolved to build a viking mead hall in the mountains some day.

Consider buying a mining claim. From what I've heard, as long as you're 'mining', ie digging up rocks and breaking them apart, and 'improving the land', ie building a house, you can build on up to 20 acres for like $140 a year.

So, I want to make a custom ring like pic related, except instead of being at all Beastie Boys related(RIP MCA, reminded me of a long-standing desire to do this) I want it to say 'chan', not because of 4chan or anything, but because my name is Chandler, and chan is what people call me.
Could I make a wax positive, then have it cast out of faux gold at a foundry? If so, what kind of money am I looking at? Any tips or suggestions?

Also, I'm no diver, but if I understand your story the guy in the ball went rocketing to the surface, then got out and had decompression sickness, thus horrifying you and ending your diving career. Am I right? Did he die, or did he get to a hyperbaric chamber or whatever it is you do to avoid the bends?
