Gas will make your welds 100% better almost instantly in my experience. You can get tiny shielding gas bottles for $150 or less through the exchange places like thoroughbred or gas pony. Exchanges are cheaper after you first buy the tank.

I've seen the fjd autosteer and the sveaverken f100. They seem to make tractors go on they're own but all the install videos and guides never mention the wiring harness connecting to the engine.

In videos all the guy does is install the new steering wheel and some sensors on the outside.

Does any pony use these on an old tractor?

Ive heard people do before each turning session.
Im just asking whether its doable to achieve the angle needed without a jig, or if I need to pony up for one/make one

I’d rather buy the Pittsburgh set to be honest.

I’ve got both cheap and budget sets of things and the budget shit works fine. And I use them almost everyday.

I bought a set of cheap shit ratchet spammers 5 years ago and they work just fine.

If you’re worried about brand names then you’re a show pony. Milwaukee is overrated by the way.

>I just PWM'd it normally I'd get 90A spikes.

PWM is not the answer to everything.
dont be a one-trick pony.
what you probably want is a big-ass SCR (or Triac) and a zero-crossing detector.
you could turn it on for, say, one half-cycle every 4 cycles. adjustable.
and you switch on at the zero crossing, so no spikes.
an SCR will turn itself off on every negative cycle, so it's always under control.

>replace the awful batteries and use an adapter
What a shitty piece of advice. Ryobi’s battery design is already awkward on certain tools and now you want to add a clunky Chinesium adapter? And of course there’s a good chance the shitty Chinesium contacts on the adapter mean you’re getting resistance under high load, and hopefully there’s no protection circuitry missing with whatever battery combo you use that harms the tools and/or batteries.

The Ryobi batteries are fine. If you’re really worried about the cheaper cells they’re putting in their $40 4.0Ah packs, then pony up another $10 per pack and get a couple 4.0Ah HP batteies with the constant sales.

I did one for a crazy cat lady client that was almost 13' tall from the base on the ground floor to the top platform that was attached to a pony wall on the second floor that acted as a railing where you could look down on the first floor.

It was basically like a spiral staircase 36" in diameter but with wider steps (bigger pie pieces) that the cats could lounge on and spaced further apart since they could jump between them and so they were better separated when two of them wanted to be on adjacent steps.

It used a 1 1/2" steel pipe support and the base and platforms were all from 3/4" Baltic birch plywood with that thick poly felt stuff like they put on speaker cabinets covering the tops of the platforms...a cleaner look that carpet and less likely to trap their claws...cheaper too.

From underneath it looked like a weird sculpture morevthatca cat tree or spiral staircase...I used black ABS pipe to space out the platforms and cover the steel support tube, sanded to give it a texture and avoid looking like plumbing pipe.

Cat lady loved it, cats loved it, never had any issues with it but she had some big ass cats so it was built crazy strong in case a 15 pounder decided to skip a few steps and jump from that pony wall to a platform 6 feet down, which they did.

someone did this to me in electronics class in high school, knocked me on my ass and possibly knocked me out for a few seconds. since then I never catch anything I cannot identify that is thrown at me.

the owner of an IT company would come up to you and while talking to you start handing things to you randomly, or if you were wearing a shirt with a pocket he would casually pour water in it.

since working for him I never take anything handed to me without looking at it, and then only if I need/wanted it.

I worked for a state government in IT, we had strict rules about leaving our computers unlocked when away from our desk (we had admin accounts), if he saw a computer unlocked, he would change your background to pic related (or my little pony), and/or send out an email (from the guys computer) to all the IT saying free donuts or pizza tomorrow.

Basically you're going to have to take that wire nut on the wite from the line in and tie another white to that to go to your outlet. Might as well add a 3-way wire nut on the incoming black as well, and then you have a single point of origin for the romex to your outlet.

If you want to do it the "right way" then now is the time to install a little junction box for your pair of 3-way wire nuts.

After that, you can use your outlet as the feed point for anything else you might want to add in the future. So like if you wire that in to the left side of your new outlet, then you can tap the next thing into the right side of the new outlet and just keep daisy chaining like that. That way you don't have to pony up for bus bars in place of your 3-way wire nuts. Wire nutting more than three wires starts to get messy.

You could also put the outlet between the line in and the rest of everything, in which case you no longer need any wire nuts. But then if you want to add anything else down the road you'll need a junction box again (unless your outlet is one of those kinds that actualluy has four sets of terminals, making it effectively a 4-way wire nut for you)

The outer sleeve of a chuck always wobbles and flies around, so ignore that.
The only thing you should be focusing on is how much runout the tip of your drill bit has.
And since your video is shaky, nobody can tell.

With that said, cordless drills are trash. All of them. They all come with garbage tier chucks that runout.
Just deal with it, or pony up the money and replace it with a Rohm chuck.

As a side note, I would dump the screw tightening, slow and futzy, I would do a cam. You can make one from wood, just do a search for cam clamp plans, should clue you in on how to make it, just run a dowel through where the screw goes, affix on end and make a cam lever for the other end. For affixing the other end I would probable just use a good fine grained hard wood about 2x2" and long enough to go all the way through, cut a long tenon on all but ~1" of it, drill a hole through the narrow end for the cam and a hole through the stitching pony for the tenon. Slide it through and pin the cam on the end. Nice and easy quick tighten and release.

You could also use a long bolt, use one that is not threaded the full length, cut the head off, file a couple flats on that last inch or so of the unthreaded portion and drill a hole through for the cam. Other end gets a big washer and wing nut, this will give some adjustability for various thicknesses of leather but the all wood cam would probably work just fine.

I suppose the stupid simple way is a bike wheel quick release skewer, but you would have to find one that is threaded its full length (not common) or thread it yourself, even the shortest skewer would be too long.

I'm >>2474349 and I just had what I think is a good idea.
I'm pretty good with fusion and 3D printing, so why don't I just make a mold and cast my own strips? I'm thinking using a caulking gun would be the fastest and easiest way to have a high flow and pressure into the mold, and from what I've read silicone is superior to polyurethane especially in UV resistance. here are my questions:
>if I go for high duromoter like 80a, will the thin sections be stiff enough to repel water and wind like going through the car wash or will they just be lifted up?
>how would I stick it to the window frame, regular weatherstripping glue or more silicone? would it even stick?
>is this even worth the hassle or should I just pony up for the proper shit?
