Any have some resources on home made quad copters?
What's the cheapest i can make one assuming i buy an off the shelf fligt control and radio system but wire and prpgram it myself?

Shit I was a a buddies house that had a really sweet setup he got for his kid for not much more than a hundred.

Two choppers, extra parts, two remotes. Pretty sweet.

Some things are just cheaper to buy.

OP, I'm building mine from scratch for <$200.
It's hard to put a good number on the price, since I spent lots of money on miscellaneous parts and tools.

Frame is built with carbon fiber rods, brushless motors + controllers, and a custom-made PCB with an accel and gyro on it.
