What's a snowboard?

>> No.90921

It looks like you didn't half arse it, which is good.

Personal opinion on the style; you've more than 0 stickers, which is bad. Not a fan of the colours either.

Also, your stomp pad is gay.

The paint will probably crack and peel once you start to use it.

I'd kinda like to have a friend who happens to be an airbrush god paint a board of mine, anyone who actually knows what they're doing got any tips for making it stay and not get scratched, damaged, wet, etc?

a good clearcoat.

>> No.91722

>>91639
any specific types of clearcoat? Would i have to reapply it, if so, how often? Any special care stuff from a normal snowboard?

>> No.91724

If you could get some snowboard ink, it would make everything a lot easier. I friend of mine used to work in a shop that made boards for burton, and he got me some ink so I could paint my own board (he also got me a all-white Feel Good). My Pink Floyd themed board looked like a legit board, and I never had any problems with the board.
Oh and the clear coat is very important. I had mine done in the shop, so it was professional grade, but you can still do an amazing job at home. I would suggest reading blogs or websites about how to build a snowboard. They usually have a part for the paint and varnish.

would this snowboard ink stuff work in an airbrush setup, without wrecking anything?

>> No.92842

>>92555
It would work, if you mix the ink with the right thinner. If you don't, you can say bye-bye to your airbrush.
