Hi, this is my new project. A mini mincer for guys with autism.
it's fantastic. can be completely dismantled and re assembled in seconds. That means it's portable everywhere.
You can use it at the restaurant for smashing bread.
At breakfast for smashing cornflakes.
Or imagine it at the park with hundreds of insects... A drug for a person with autism.

I'm going to do a kickstarter for this. what do you think?

Everything that comes in contact with food should be FDA approved plastic or stainless steel.

You're using zinc plated bolts and fucking wood... Stop that.

Also, it's full of cracks and crevices. This should be easy to clean and have minimal fasteners.

I'll give you points for execution. It looks very nice. Upgrade the materials if you want anyone to even consider funding/buying this.

>> No.894636

>>894616
No, it isn't. It's a developmental disorder like dyslexia or ADD.

A diagnosis of mental retardation requires
-IQ two standard deviations or more below mean.
-Significant adaptive living skill deficits.
-Onset before age 17.

I'm not going to list the diagnostics for autism because it's really wordy.
Anyway.
It is completely possible and relatively common to be on the autism spectrum and not be mentally retarded.

yes you can dumbass its called a design patent. you're thinking only of utility patents, which are not the only type, in fact, far from it.

on the other hand, if the function of the device is substantially different from existing similar devices, eg, the motors drive the mill differently, fewer gears, two vs one motor, etc. then he might be able to get a utility patent as well.

ps imho you can cut a LOT of costs by eliminating the carbon fiber, squaring off those panels, and raising the wood sides even with the top of the shorter sides. no real reason to have it take this shape.

also motor cases are kind of cool but add alot to construction costs and complexity. seems more discrete to have the whole thing fit into a box, motors and all, perhaps with a lid.

why is disassembling it a benefit?

Nope, impossible for me. My diet is quite sad. Can't eat any vegetables/fruits at all unless i puree them. Meat is fine as long as it doesnt have pure fat on the edge. so is the generic stuff you can deep-fry...

It's not that i don't like the taste of most fruits/vegetables, i do. It's the texture that makes me gag when i try to eat it. I have tried often to fix it. Force me to eat stuff i don't like, starve myself for days and then eat stuff i don't like, nothing works. I'm underweight since i can't enjoy most food.
