want to do some sanding but dont want to leave the living room. would a regular vacuum cleaner clean up the mess on the carpet just fine?

it wont just be your carpet, it'll be the walls and then the sawdust will float through the whole house. have you ever cleaned a place to get your bond back? shit is fucking messy. ok maybe if you wrap your whole house in wax paper you can do it.

Obvious question: why don't you want to leave the living room? If the item you want to sand can be removed from the room, then remove it from the room.
