Moving out of my parents' place soon (hooray!), and looking for unique DIY crafts or just cool stuff to personalize the new digs so it's not quite so cookiecutter. Painting might be possible too.

I can't really be sure from the pic but the way the light is reflecting off of it (from a door/window I guess) makes it look like the entire floor is sealed in something.

It's a GP5 gas mask. Russian.

NEVER use it as a gas mask. The filters for it are old and probably won't offer an iota of protecting from anything. Not even fumes from feces.
