What are some things you can easily manufacture and sell to make a quick buck?

>> No.769536

>>769520
Nothing.
If it was that easy everyone would do it.

>> No.769537

wat
I'm talking about little handmade things you can do quickly.

Do you have a router, drill, and assorted bits?
I sell massively overpriced boxes I make from figured woods. They cost about 25 bucks to make, and I sell them for 60. They take maybe two hours to cut, glue, clamp, and finish.

nice, do you have any pics?

>> No.769552

The point is to make something simple that can be done for cheap and quickly, then sell it.

The available resources can be any you think seem fit.

try beaten up bicycles. Its really not that hard to replace a chain and a tire. My highest profit was something like 300$ on a used bike. Just make sure you dont buy a stolen bike and end up putting money and hours into something someone can just call dibbs on.

You really need to study demographics and the interest of people around the area you intend to sell. There's no point in manufacturing it if people are not into it. Also, the term "easily manufacture" is kinda broad. Things I can "easily do" might be hard for you. Tell us about the people around your place and we'll tell you how to make money from them. No matter how expert "sales-talker" you are if the people have no interest in it your product is dungoofed. So I repeat:

Tell us more about the people around your place

Similar to this picture in construction. Finger joints, because they're simple and sturdy. Currently, I'm using mostly lacewood because I found a dozen or so boards at a local place for cheap, as one side is like C-grade. I just put it poor side in and put patterned cloth over it.

Pic is from Google, not mine.

Like what?
They're like the people you find in any average city.
I live in the desert in Mexico if that helps.

I think I shouldn't have used the word "manufacture" as that sounds like I'm going to start a company or something.
No, I just want to build neat things at home to sell.
I'm going to be advertising them on the internet.

Mine are a bit nicer. And they're lacewood or figured maple or whatever I have around. So they're pretty.
That, and people at outdoor markets are silly.

two words: religious shit. Crucifixes, candle holders, rosaries, anything that you can stick jesus, mary, or the local favorite saint will work just fine. the older folks will eat that shit up.

A scorer, a measuring tool, a jig, and a router. They're way easier than dovetails.
You can even get finger joint router bits, but I'm not quite that lazy.

>> No.769616

The jig you can make out of scrap wood. You can find explanations on Google really easy.
My router was ~400, but it was also a gift. You can get a second hand router and table for maybe 150 on Craigslist. A straight 1/4" or 3/8" bit will run you 20 bucks new, if that.

You mean 'little handmade things that kids in China are making 16 hours a day for a penny a day and that you can't possibly even break even on making and selling them here assuming you can even get anyone to want to buy it in the first place'? I homemake mead, it takes ~4lb of honey for a 3 gallon batch, 2x 2lb jugs of Market Pantry honey from target are <$5 + Lavlin EC1118 ~.40c + water (basically free).

Just buy the off brand honey, it's all the damn same if you don't plan on making high end shit.

He said quick buck, to make mead taste decent you have to age it a while. If you aren't going for high end shit and just want booze, ferment sugar add flavor and sell to fellow teenagers done.

If you're a bit artistic or not, try painting, I learned how to paint off YouTube and now I can make a painting in 2-3 hrs and sell it for around $100 each, very cheap to do aswell, I get all my supplies from the dollar store, and pic related I painted it

Eh thanks man, and I just search for specific techniques then put my own spin on them, like when I first started I'd type in how to paint a sky or how to blend a sky, then you just learn and progress, I've been doing it for 4 years now and I'm 18, and here's another of mine
