What do you have?

>>701543
Hammer, hacksaw, flathead screwdriver and a 5lb steel plate.

Also, i fucked up. I meant unscrew the nuts.

>>701544
The nuts are too small for any socket in my home right now.

>> No.701550

If your bolts are fairly large, get a wrench.
If they're not, get pliers or chain or something, and then get a wrench.

Is there a way to make a wrench? It's past 7 pm where I live and that's the time most hardware stores close here.

seriously OP fucking apply yourself

Saw, chisel, and hammer that steel plate into a wrench.

Wait for the morning, dipshit.
If you have such an urgent need of a fucking wrench, you should at least have the common sense to buy a few beforehand.

Although this picture is technically SFW, it isn't actually safe for work, so please refrain from trying to draw undue attention to yourself by posting shit like that.

In any case, it is, as you say, completely unrelated to your question. A picture of the actual problem would not be difficult to provide, and would make it infinitely easier for anyone here to help.

>>701627
Because you are clearly a dingus.

This is now a yoga pants thread.

Please, don't stop the newfags from posting softcore saucy images. Helps identify the /b/tard visitors in /diy/.

Bingo. Probably to late but here's your solution. Gas stations probably have an emergency roadside kit that would contain a shit pliers too.

Most of /diy/ doesn't work at McDonalds. Well some of us at the very least.

Posting this from my home office in my boxers, while getting paid.

Check, just came in after watching the tree guys cut down a couple of tree at the house. Paid them, and now back at home office doing paper work and browsing /diy/.

In my boxers, and have a cold beer already open.

Not OP, don't want to be compared to the toolless pussy, but I'm a salaried programmer, I'd tell my 90 year old boss to go away. He doesn't know the fucking difference anyway.

>> No.701860

Perhaps use the saw to cut a slot into the steel plate for a shitty wrench, or cut into the bolt head and use the screwdriver

Well it sounds like you could easily use a pair of slip joint or channellock pliers on them then. Or do you lack those too and only seem to have giant sockets?

>> No.702054

If you don't have a wrench, I'd say get your hands on 'vise grip' brand locking pliers. They will do it. Since we don't know how much of these you have, time, money, knowledge, tools, that's as simple a solution as I can give for what I know about you.

wellll its been 5 days. did op ever get his nuts loose?

If bolts, hacksaw a slot in the bolt head and use the flathead screwdriver.

If nuts, use the flathead as a chisel, place it perpendicular to one of the flat faces right near the edge, tap it with the hammer. pic related
