Today I found a radio system nearly 30 years old while I was cleaning my mom's house. It belonged to my beloved late father.. I spent my childhood clicking it's button and saying "Break break are you there break!". Now I really wish to make it work again. It's like a connection between the past and present for me.. Anyways, I took pictures of the parts..
I hope you can give me some clues about turning it on..
http://s7.postimg.org/9m92gau57/1_on.jpg -> Main radio receiver.. Channel switch, mic etc..

http://s7.postimg.org/67qw05yqj/1_arka.jpg -> Back of main receiver..

http://s7.postimg.org/denziak9n/1_yan.jpg -> Side of the main receiver.

http://s7.postimg.org/kcwp1z7rv/2_on.jpg -> It's the adapter I guess.. It has 13.8 v output. I connected it to the main receiver and turned it on, but nothing happened. (Adapter's light turned on, there was no problem with that I think.)

http://s7.postimg.org/lqobxa717/2_arka.jpg -> Back of the adapter..

http://s7.postimg.org/b7oc844d7/3_on.jpg -> I think it's the signal booster..

http://s7.postimg.org/4tunr4a3f/3_arka.jpg -> So called signal booster's back..

I really need your help to connect these parts to each other.
(I uploaded the pictures on a different site to keep them in high quality)

What, these images?

Despite your intentions, the way it comes across is that you can't be arsed uploading them, and if you can't be arsed, why should anyone be arsed helping you?

Did not want to flood with images on posts.. Oh I'm really sorry then. Do you really have any intentions about the subject or just the post?

Ham-fag here, that's an AM CB:

Fuck sake OP are you even trying?
Connect the red to the positive and the black to the negative, assuming there's a SO-239 socket behind the plug left on the back of the radio take that off and build/buy a cb antenna (11m band).
And google it, there's a ton of resources, as for the amp, it's illegal but stay in CB bands and I doubt anyone will give a shit.

It seems to be an Italian national custom to use all kinds of amplifiers with CB transceivers. Either their laws allow it or maybe just no-one gives a shit.
Which reminds me of an Italian ham who had a 10kW transmitter. Apparently it was illegal.

For fuck's sake will you just upload the goddamn images here instead of posting shitty links!?

Yeah the Italians and the Portugese are apparently the cancer of the radio spectrum in both ham and cb

My late father made the Great Santini look like Fready Murcury. Sort of threw up in my mouth reading "beloved" and "father" in the same sentence.

Did you turn on the transmitter itself? usually they have the switch in the volume dial.

Yes I turned it on too.. But nothing happened.. I think something wrong with main receiver..

If you have a multimeter check the the powersupply. should give 13.8v

if it does, it might be time to open up the transmitter so we can see what could be broken

That power supply will not be big enough for the amp but it should run the CB fine.

In Australia we call CBs like that a budgie box. Practically no one uses them any more since we also have uhf cb. Most on 27mhz use SSB.
