Nice, I'd love some pics of your build. I'm pretty new to electronics, and I think I might make one of those myself. Also on my list of things to do is an altoids tin mixer (too lazy to find the instructables link).

There are lots of cool monotron mods out there too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2ax0R0qKI8

Korg has been taking a considerable chunk of my spending money lately, see pic. As far as I know, they haven't been released yet, but they are just begging to be modded/ expanded. I also bought myself a couple of korg volcas, and I'm waiting for other people to do some crazy mods with them. Schematics are all on korg's site. I want to keep mine mint for now though.

And funny enough, I have a monotron but haven't gotten around to modding it yet

Do you have some more info on this, so that I can do it? I love this, and the link just seems to download a video.

google "monotron vc gate mod" and "velleman running led sequencer"

it is fairly easy done, and in the meantime got better documented.
2 years ago i had to make the connection between the two ideas myself. i had no idea about the underlying concept and worked into it on the way.

I was thinking about cool casings for small projects like this when I remembered the local dollar store was selling these little wooden craft boxes that would be the perfect size.

Went to pick one up, and discovered they were all gone. I had a sad.

Guess it's back to Altoids.
