i'd like to knit a beard and helmet (see image).
anyone has instructions for that?
(btw never knitted before, but a friend of mine will show me how to).

If you're new to knitting, this is not the project to start with. it's not the most complex thing in the world, but it would be a lot to learn for your first time.
Start with a simple scarf, then a simple hat, then move on to something like this.
