New to /diy/ posted a few times in the /b/
but doing epoxy inlays in said wood ( walnut ) , anyone have any insight on said media . The few test plugs of epoxy I have are beach glass, abalone shell and some shaved metals ( not shown ) The project is a bit further along sanding wise and I will show a pic of the full peice off wood if any interest and well insight .

If you haven't worked with wood before it may be good to note that unseasoned wood may split and warp while it dries. In fact, even dried wood may do so if the humidity changes.

If you aren't going for a clear epoxy I would recommend using inlace. When we use it, which is admittedly very seldom, it holds up extremely well.
