I bought a wireless pinhole camera with a receiver dirt cheap from some guy on a local craigslist-like site.
Turned out it didn't work and when I opened it up I saw this.

I have 4 wires not connected to anything, 4 pins with solder on them (the ones with the red arrows), no idea which goes where, and google have failed me.
So I was hoping someone here could give me an idea of how its supposed to be connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize for the shitty picture quality.

Face it: you bought someone else's broken junk for cash. Toss it in the e-waste bin and learn from your mistake.

Can you give some more information?
What frequency does it operate on? Do you know what the potentiometer is for?
I also had a similar receiver, on 2.4GHz. It doesn't have a potentiometer though, but a switch for the 4 channels it can receive.
As you have only one output connector, this probably has no sound? With the 4 cables, I would have assumed
-GND
-5V
-Video
-Sound
If you can get some better pictures, try to get the underside of the small PCB. Also try to open the lid of the HF box if not soldered shut. GND and Power should be easy enough to figure out, and there is no harm in just trying out the outputs.

I have one of those. Mine doesn't work either, something with the V-hold is messed up, I can't tell if it's the camera or receiver. They're the shit, though, I remember as a little kid having lots of fun taping it to RC cars and boats.
