Where do I learn about stocks? Is anyone here a diy stockbroker? Finally saved up a bit of cash, and I want to learn how to make it grow.

Goddamn, this is not rocket science. Mostly gambling with a bit of common sense and balls.

Read some classic literature:

A Random Walk Down Wall Street
Intelligent Investor
+ some more crap until you get bored

You will realize that pretty much all literature talks about the same things except some try to throw their own bullshit up there. Take heed of the commonalities and be wary of the bullshit.

Then go and buy the dip!

Never invest more than you afford to lose! And for the love of god, don't get into daytrading. You will only get burned.

Buy and hold is my strategy.

Trading stocks can be gambling it all depends on how you trade and with how much discipline.
