Hey /diy/, is there anything interesting I can do with two empty folgers jars?

Use for storing things.
Or throw in the trash, because it's trash.
Also, shit-tier coffee, you should be ashamed of yourself even admitting you have them.

Save them and use them to hold paint in if you have to paint a wall or something. If you use latex paint, it'll peel right off the sides/bottom if you let it dry completely. It's what we do for Habitat for Humanity here.

Use the coffee grounds to make a robot gripper: Fill a balloon with coffee grounds, push it against something, suck the air out, and it forms a hard shape that grips the item.

That specific type of coffee is absolutely awful. Just get something that's mid-range in price and you'll probably enjoy it much more. You don't have to go all-out, it's just that canned folgers is awful. I too have one of these containers lying around, which I keep assorted nuts and bolts in.

while this thread is here i'm wondering what to do with used nespresso capsules. i was thinking of using them as seeding containers not sure how i'd get them open though.

I'm not that guy but I just buy some Honduran mountain coffe, for me it just tastes better.

I had Honduran coffee fresh in Honduras, and oh my god it was godly.

But now I'm in the States again, and well, I'm fine with a $1 coffee from mcdonalds cause i mostly just want the brown caffeine water on an average morning.

But sometimes, yeah, I want that good shit. Kinda the same way I drink PBR daily but love to get craft beer when the budget allows

what if I like folgers?

seriously, I get that it's just cheap namebrand bs but when people come over and I offer coffee they usually like it and ask what kind I use. Even wealthy people have complimented it oddly enough. It's fine coffee.

Anyway I use them for mixing paints OP.

Extract from coffee with dichloromethane, evaporate solvent, purify raw stuff by sublimation.
Considering the price of the caffeine tablets, you might want to buy it. Or just drink coffee or tea like normal people.

>> No.407543

I use plastic coffee cans to hold change. I use metal ones to hold loose reloaded ammo and small amounts of brass.

Anyway I buy pre-ground coffee and prepare it in a 5 dollar coffee press because instant tastes like the preservative they use in sliced ham

Cut it open and make a diorama of the Sharon Tate murder. Have Manson hiding somewhere in it.
