So there is this old broken down riding lawn mower out in the woods behind my neighbors house. I doubt they would mind if I took it but I will be sure to ask first.

Anyway what kind of fun stuff could I do with it? Pretty sure its missing parts, so not worth trying to fix it.

If nothing else can I take the axles and make a wagon or something? How hard would it be just to pop those off?

This might be significantly more work than you're thinking about, but I grew up in a shithole little town where, every year, people would 'trick out' their riding mowers with stuff like antlers on the front, atv/snowmobile engines, etc, and then race them.

The ones with the snowmobile engines freaking flew, but they overheated after an hour or so (obviously).

I'll bet the engine is rebuildable; make a big ass generator / battery pack
out of it; running multiple alternators with the chassis converted into a
wheeled trailer for multiple AGM batteries.
