i have been fantasizing for a few months about building a fully functional pip boy. this guy has the best one i have seen yet, but he cant put it on.
I have tools.
I have motivation.
I have not a smidgen of experience with arduinos.
And most importantly, I have a large budget for this.
could /diy/ point me in the right direction as to what materials i will require, so i may get started as soon as possible?

I think it's weird no one has built a wrist blood pressure monitor, temp sensor, and pulse oximeter into these things.

You could also build in a rad detector like the real one.

Then your status screen could be more real.

i could do all of that is the space permits

im setting my budget at $1000, much higher than i should need, but i have no idea what materials besides an arduino, droid phone(or maybe just an lcd or oled screen, we'll see), and wiring.

if someone would like to provide a little instruction to aid me i will get this done.

i will do this, and i will post results along the way.

It depends a lot on how durable you want it to be, how light, etc. Really you need

The last one could be anything from functional and nothing like the actual FO pipboy, to an aesthetic representation of the original with no function.
