Throwies
I used cr2032 batteries in the image.
Do the other cr20xx 3v batteries work? Whats the difference/effect on the throwie?
Are there any other cheaper batteries that can be used as substitute?

To spend your money, waste your time and then throw away the result.

I can understand the humor in a throwie (first time having heard of the stupid things), but unless I'm stealing or harvesting the parts at no cost I'm not wasting my money.

I got kids to feed dammit.

OP, any battery that supplies enough voltage will work.

how much is enough? depends on the led of course, but what is it based on? voltage drop?

Based on current (10mA-20mA).
