alright /diy/, just began a new project:

>made with chrome tanned 3mm cowbits
>wet mold w/sand

Neat. I've always found the most difficult part of wet molding to be proper drying of the piece without deforming it in the process.

So the sand shifted the magazines slightly, widening the gap and making one mag very slightly crooked.

It's spent all day drying while I mold a single mag holder.

Plan it's to cut to shape, sew to a leather strap with belt holes, and rivet the weak points. Then clean and Polish

You done fucked up already OP. The chromates in the leather will react with the moisture in the air to cause corrosion on your pistol. There is a reason why they always use oiled or veg tanned leathers.
